Walking cane Creek Volos Wheels. Purchased brand-new a number of years back. I was in very excellent shape going into cross season and desired to ride tubies. Bought these new. Mounted them up with Vittoria Tigre Cross tires (outstanding in green). 5 coats of glue on the tires, and 4 on the rims. Rode them on two brief training trips. Rode great at 40 psi. Friday before the first race of the season, got struck by a car on my commuter bike, bummed my shoulder up, no season. A number of years later on, doesn't appear I'll be pinning a number onto a jersey this years.
Fast, strong, light tubulars at an affordable expense of entry. Or throw roadway tubulars on them and crit race them without hesitating of crashing your deep dish rolling stock.
Tires are in good condition and hold air fine. Needless to say, they need some fresh glue.
I have the original walking cane creek skewers. Have the handbooks and truing devices. Also have a few extra spokes, as I had other Cane Creek wheels too. I must have a couple of Ultegra-10 cassettes we can talk about.
I also have some glue and glue tape. Anything appropriate I'll toss in.
