This is a very special Custom built rosewood replica of a 1968 Telecaster that Fender built for George Harrison and presented to him in 1968!
It was played on the "Let It Be" album as received from Fender sales rep. Mark Webber...This guitar was built by a luthier from Texas in 2011 and
remained in his possession until I purchased it recently....It's a very special guitar in many ways..Original body is from Dixie Custom Guitar Works..Body is
chambered with a maple center..pickups are 1952 Fender no-caster hand wired..Neck is custom built rosewood ..Standard Fender switching..Pickguard
is 3-ply plastic..Tuners are Vintage 1960s..Strings are Ernie Ball 10s ...it's finished with 5 coats of hand rubbed linseed oil..It's built to the exact specs
as the one presented to George Harrison in 1968!; rosewood is rare and costly. This guitar comes with a special 5 photo tribute of Harrison and Ravi Shankar playing together and a special Life magazine glossy, multi-page magazine tribute to George Harrison and his life!; and a nice hard shell Fender plastic case is included! .
