My story
Pippin came to us in September of 2022. He was born with deformed eyelids, and when we first examined him, we feared he would never be able to see. However, we miraculously realized that his eyes did work, but his eyelids were underdeveloped. We were able to perform surgery and open up his eyes, enough for him to finally be able to see. While his peripheral vision is likely impaired, he can still see the beauty of the world around him!
Because he lived most of his early years with little to no sight, Pippin is very shy and apprehensive at first. We would love to see him go to a home that is willing to let him explore at his own pace. But with a little time and patience, he will come around and be the best friend you could have!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Pippin, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
